Pump House, Aldeburgh 

This project involved the refurbishment of the existing theatre building and the construction of an extension to house ancillary facilities necessary to serve the main performance space.

Patrick Allen & Associates Ltd took over the project at the detailed design stage, with planning permission having been originally achieved by a London-based practice.

Following further site investigation and owing to other complex site constraints it became necessary to make an amended planning application which addressed these matters whilst still retaining and respecting the design principals of the originally approved scheme.
