Bredfield Street, Woodbridge

The architectural design brief from the client was to refurbish the house, which dates from 1836 and needed modernization, together with an extension to the rear to provide additional living space to meet the needs of modern living.

Working closely with the client the final design created a space that complimented the existing house in a contemporary style.

Using sustainable and durable materials requiring minimal maintenance, and large areas of glazing providing beautiful views of the garden.

Large overhanging eaves provide solar shading from summer sun together with a modest timber pergola to the patio area as an enjoyable environment to relax or entertain for both family and friends.

Collaborating with the client from concept to completion the finished project is the perfect combination where old meets new.
