Heath Cottage

The project involved the construction of a new replacement dwelling in the rural setting of Rushmere St Andrew. The dwelling was designed to reflect the outgoing nature of the client and their family. Concealed doors and hidden spaces deliver a sense of fun, providing an engaging family home. The dwelling is situated high on the site, taking advantage of countryside views.

The external walls are clad in broken rock stonework and vertical timber boarding, with a slate roof. The use of natural materials is intended to reflect the agricultural history of the site, whilst delivering a contemporary and modern family home that sits comfortably into its rural environment.
